ACQUISITION: Morgan Stanley buys cold storage in Columbus, OH for $22M. An affiliate of Morgan Stanley has acquired 6660 Broughton Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. The property features a 105,000 SF rail-served cold storage facility on 6.8 acres. The seller was 6660 Broughton Owner LLC, which bought the property in May 2022 for $8.5M. David Gross led the Morgan Stanley deal team.

GRAND OPENING: MEDLOG opens cold storage facility in Savannah, GA. MEDLOG has opened it new state-of-the-art cold storage facility at 1300 Heritage Way in Rincon, Georgia. The 291,000 SF facility features 20,000 pallet positions and boasts the largest blast room in the US. The MEDLOG cold storage team is led by Giuseppe Prudente, Bill Sanders, and José Carlos Garcia.

GRAND OPENING: RealCold opens Central Florida cold storage facility. RealCold has celebrated the opening of 5900 Mount Olive Road in Polk City, Florida. The property features a 386,000 SF cold storage facility with more than 42,000 pallet positions. The RealCold project team included Keith Goldsmith, James Kosann, and Marty Steinmetz.

DEVELOPMENT: Zenith develops and leases cold storage in Minneapolis, MN. Zenith IOS has developed a state-of-the-art build-to-suit cold storage facility at 3018 Pacific Street North in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Kemps, a national dairy company, has signed a 15-year lease for the facility plus more than 8 acres of industrial outdoor storage (IOS). The Zenith deal team included Alex Guider. LEASE SIGNED: CBRE leases cold storage facility in Chicagoland. CBRE has facilitated the leasing of 81,054 SF at 6800 Santa Fe Drive in Hodgkins, Illinois. Steven Livaditis with CBRE represented the landlord in the transaction and was the only broker involved.

LEASE SIGNED: FORUM CRE leases cold storage facility in Laredo, TX. FORUM Commercial Real Estate has facilitated the leasing of 61,218 SF of temperature-controlled space at 10228 Crossroads Loop in Laredo, Texas. The property is managed by Merlin Management Co. on behalf of the landlord, Northwind Development Ltd., and is owned by Alejandro Ramos, Juan Villarreal, Jose Minarro, and Ed Vargas. The tenant is Kotick Cold JV LLC. Carlo Molano Longoria led the FORUM deal team.
