DISPOSITION: Yukon Real Estate Partners sells Miami cold storage for $11.4M. Yukon Real Estate Partners has sold 500-550 Northeast 185th Street in Miami, Florida. The property features a 32,128 SF cold storage facility. The buyer was Cold Storage 18th St LLC. Mark Winter-Gitelson led the Yukon Real Estate Partners deal team.

DEVELOPMENT: Interstate Capital plans cold storage in Detroit metro area. Interstate Capital has planned construction of a 257,950 SF cold storage facility at 15670 Wahrman Road in Romulus, Michigan. When complete, the project will boast more than 25,000 pallet positions, 48’ clear height, and 28 exterior loading docks. John Droze and Drake Filippis with Signature Associates are currently marketing the property for lease.

DEVELOPMENT: RLCold plans Class A cold storage facility in Cincinnati. RLCold plans to build a Class A cold storage facility at 5051 Estecreek Road in Cincinnati, Ohio. The property is currently owned by the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority, which is issuing $30M in lease revenue bonds for the project’s construction. When finished, RLCold will lease the property to Chefs’ Warehouse.

LAWSUIT: Lineage sues solar company for $1B+ over Los Angeles cold storage fire. Lineage is suing solar developer Altus Power and contractor Pearce Services for more than $1B, alleging their work sparked a devastating warehouse fire in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. The companies dispute the claims, while the fire’s cause remains under investigation.
