ACQUISITION: Winstanley buys West Coxsackie, NY cold storage for $20.5M. Winstanley Enterprises has acquired 1 Van Bergen Lane in West Coxsackie, New York. The 333,386 SF building, formerly a distribution center for Save-A-Lot, sits on 30.7 acres. The property will be improved and renamed the Mid-Hudson Logistics Center. The Winstanley deal team was led by Adam Winstanley. Dan Simpson with CBRE represented the seller, SAL Asset Holdings.

ACQUISITION: Stream Realty Partners buys Chicago warehouse for $19M. Stream Realty Partners has acquired 815 West Pershing Road in Chicago, Illinois. The fully-leased property features a 104,008 SF warehouse with refrigerated storage and sits on 7 acres. The Stream deal team included Ben Harrison, Mustafa Ali, and Patrick Russo. JLL’s Ed Halaburt, John Huguenard, Kurt Sarbaugh, Michael Conway, Sean Devaney, and William McCormack represented the seller, Rick Stone with Sagard Real Estate.

LEASE SIGNED: Bellingham Cold Storage signs 50-year lease with port. Bellingham Cold Storage (BCS) has extended its lease with the Port of Bellingham, Washington, for an additional 50 years. “The Port lease extension is a testament to our unwavering commitment to Bellingham and the surrounding community,” said BCS President and CEO Doug Thomas. The lease includes a $30 million commitment to modernize BCS facilities within the first 20 years. BCS’s Bellingham facilities include a 662,133 SF warehouse at 2825 Roeder Avenue.

DEVELOPMENT: Gorton’s breaks ground on Lebanon, IN cold storage facility. Gorton’s Seafood has begun building an $89 million cold storage facility at 419 South Mount Zion Road in Lebanon, Indiana. The new plant will be connected to a new 100,000 SF addition to an existing refrigerated warehouse owned by United States Cold Storage (USCS). The Gorton’s team is led by CEO Kurt Hogan. The USCS team includes Midwest Director Adam Ashley.

DEVELOPMENT: ARCO breaks ground on Regent Cold Storage site in SoCal. ARCO National Construction has begun construction on a 67,160 SF cold storage facility for Regent Cold Storage, a subsidiary of Miller Enterprise Cos. The facility will be located at 5400 Alcoa Avenue in Vernon, California. IT will feature a 40,377 SF -10°F freezer, a 6,972 SF dry warehouse, a 1,919 SF 35°F cooler, and a 1,914 SF 45°F cooler. The ARCO team includes cold storage expert Brian Westre.
