DISPOSITION: Cushman & Wakefield sells cold storage facility in Union City, NJ, for $6M. Cushman & Wakefield has facilitated the sale of 609 10th Street in Union City, New Jersey. The 33,515 SF asset includes cold storage, manufacturing, dry storage, and office space. Andrew Schwartz, Jordan Sobel, André Balthazard, and Dan Bottiglieri with CushWake represented both the buyer, PanRaj Holding LLC, and the seller, 10th St Realty LLC.

LEASE SIGNED: Binswanger leases out cold storage in Philadelphia. Binswanger has facilitated the leasing of 12,000 SF of cold storage space at 4001-11 North American Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The property features a 40,136 SF cold storage facility on 1.48 AC. Chris Pennington and Michael Pennington led the Binswanger deal team.

GROUNDBREAKING: PermaCold breaks ground on cold storage in Albertville, AL. PermaCold Logistics has started construction on a $40M Ti Cold cold storage facility at 196 Quality Drive in Albertville, Alabama. The 121,270 SF facility is expected to be operational by the end of summer 2027. UB Community Development, a subsidiary of United Bancorporation of Alabama, provided $10M in tax-credit financing for the project.

EXPANSION: Nelson-Jameson expands cold storage capabilities in Turlock, CA. Nelson-Jameson has added cold storage capabilities to its distribution center at 3004 Humphrey Court in Turlock, California. The expansion includes ultra-cold storage capacity for fresh dairy products and cheese-making cultures. Brian Hanson led the Nelson-Jameson expansion team.

DEVELOPMENT: RealCold to open cold storage facility in East Hanover, NJ. RealCold Manager LLC has announced that it is opening a new cold storage facility in East Hanover, New Jersey. The new facility will be located less than 30 minutes from Port Newark.
