DISPOSITION: Signature Associates sells cold storage asset in Detroit. Signature Associates has facilitated the sale of 2478 Riopelle Street in Detroit, Michigan. The property was originally built as a refrigeration and cold storage facility and will be returned to that purpose by the new buyer. Drake Filippis and Chris Monsour led the Signature Associates deal team.

DISPOSITION: Newmark sells cold storage facility in Columbus, OH. Newmark has facilitated the sale of 5303 Fisher Road in Columbus, Ohio. The property features a 465,256 SF cold storage and dry warehouse facility that is 100% leased to Mars Petcare. Derek Lichtfuss and Terry Coyne with The Coyne Team at Newmark represented the seller in the transaction. David Aschenbrand, also with Newmark, brought in the buyer, Saxum Real Estate.

DISPOSITION: Colliers sells cold storage facility in Toronto area. Colliers, in partnership with TD Cornerstone Commercial Realty Inc., has facilitated the sale of 7550-7570 Torbram Road in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The property features 2 buildings totaling 142,543 SF of industrial and cold storage space. The Colliers deal team included Charles Pint, Marc Kirshenbaum, and Stewart Metcalfe. The TD deal team included Alexandra Henderson, Elliot Medoff, and Ted Hunt.

EXPANSION: Triumph Foods plans $30M expansion of Missouri pork processing plant. Triumph Foods is planning an expansion of the cold storage capacity at its current facility at 5302 Stockyards Expressway in St. Joseph, Missouri. The expansion will also include the installation of new equipment and machinery. Matt England leads the Triumph Foods team.

EXPANSION: Nelson-Jameson expands cold storage in Erie, PA, area. Nelson-Jameson has announced that it is expanding its colds storage and logistics for cultures at its facility located at 7251 Klier Drive in Fairview, Pennsylvania. “This investment in cold storage for cultures at our Fairview distribution center is just the beginning of our expanded culture logistics strategy,” Nelson-Jameson’s Shawn Kitchner said.
