ACQUISITION: Americold invests $127M in Houston, TX cold storage facility. Americold has acquired 6330 Nita Way in Baytown, Texas. The property is part of Trans-Global Solutions’ Cedar Port Industrial Park and has a capacity of 10.7M cubic feet. The acquisition of the property, as well as planned expansion and equipment upgrades, totals $127M. Thanks to the purchase, Americold will add roughly 35,700 pallet positions to its US portfolio. The Americold team is led by George Chappelle.

ACQUISITION: Sansone buys 18.6 acres for cold storage in Columbus, OH. Sansone Group, in a partnership with Clous Road Partners, has acquired 18.6 acres of land on Groveport Road in Columbus, Ohio. The partners plan to develop a 212,000 SF cold storage facility on the property, with a groundbreaking expected in the summer. JLL and CBRE will market the property for lease. Timothy, James, Douglas, and Nicholas Sansone lead Sansone Group.

LEASE SIGNED: Entrust leases cold storage warehouse in Mission, TX. Entrust Commercial Advisors Group has leased 1407 Commerce Drive in Mission, Texas. The property features a 24,000 SF cold storage warehouse and is located near the US/Mexico border. Gustavo Torres with Entrust represented the landlord and procured the tenant for the transaction.

DEVELOPMENT: We Store Frozen opens cold storage expansion in Houston, TX. We Store Frozen has celebrated the grand opening of its new 180,000 SF cold storage facility in Hosuton, Texas. The expansion complements the company’s original location at 2304 Reed Road in Houston, Texas. The We Store Frozen team is led by Dimitri Menin and Omri Shafran.
