ACQUISITION: Lineage Logistics to buy Bellingham Cold Storage. Lineage Logistics has reached a deal to purchase Bellingham Cold Storage (BCS). The Lineage team is led by Greg Lehmkuhl, while Doug Thomas heads the BCS leadership team. The acquisition will add 4 warehouse campuses to Lineage’s portfolio:

• 2825 Roeder Avenue in Bellingham, Washington

• 600 West Orchard Drive in Bellingham, Washington

• 1600 Port Drive in Burlington, Washington

• 301 South Walnut Street in Burlington, Washington

ACQUISITION: Source Logistics acquires LaGrou’s cold storage business. Source Logistics has acquired LaGrou Distribution’s warehousing business. Raul Villarreal led the Source deal team. The purchase adds 8 cold storage facilities to Source’s portfolio:

• 1320 Brewster Creek in Bartlett, Illinois

• 340 Crossroads Parkway in Bolingbrook, Illinois

• 551 St. James Gate in Bolingbrook, Illinois

• 3514 South Kostner Avenue in Chicago, Illinois

• 3534 South Kostner Avenue in Chicago, Illinois

• 1800 South Wolf Road in Des Plaines, Illinois

• 1111 West Harvester Road in West Chicago, Illinois

• 1800 Hawthorne Lane in West Chicago, Illinois

LEASE SIGNED: Newmark arranges cold storage facility lease in Chicago, IL. Newmark has arranged a lease for 24,012 SF of cold storage space at 900 West Cermak Road in Chicago, Illinois. Corey Chase and Stephen Levine with Newmark represented the tenant, Bento Inc. Steven Kohn, Jay Maher, and Patrick Richwine with Avison Young represented the landlord.

LEASE SIGNED: Cold-Link leases 14.61 acres from Miami-Dade County. Cold-Link Logistics will lease 7333, 7445, and 7449 Northwest 12 Street in Miami, Florida, from Miami-Dade County. Pending county approval, Cold-Link intends to build a 262,896 SF cold storage warehouse on the site for an estimated $141 million. The Cold-Link team is led by Michael, Mark, and Nick Mandich.

DEVELOPMENT: Coastal Cold Storage opens in Foristell, MO. Coastal Cold Storage has opened a new cold storage facility at 10801 Opportunity Drive in Foristell, Missouri. The facility, which was built by Brinkmann Constructors, features a 55,600 SF freezer, a 29,300 SF cooler, a 23,500 SF cold dock, and an 8,600 SF office area. The Coastal Cold Storage team is led by John Dunard.
