FINANCING: RL Cold/BGO secure $78.5M refi loan for cold storage in Lula, GA. A joint venture (JV) between RealtyLink’s RL Cold and BGO has received a $78.5M refinancing loan for 3875 Cornelia Highway in Lula, Georgia. The property totals 268,060 SF and features 38,259 pallet positions. Nick Scribani, Blake Thompson, Jordan Roeschlaub, and Jonathan Firestone with Newmark arranged the deal on behalf of the JV.

ACQUISITION: Lineage acquires 3 cold storage facilities in Quebec, Canada. Michigan-based Lineage Inc. has acquired 2 cold storage warehouses in Sainte-Brigide-d’Iberville and 1 in Laval, Quebec. All 3 facilities are located near Montreal. The company also plans to expand 3 existing sites in Canada: in Montreal, Quebec; Calgary, Alberta; and Vaughan, Ontario. All told, Lineage’s strategic Canadian expansion is expected to add 13M CFT and more than 68,000 pallet positions to the company’s portfolio. Matt Cramer led the Lineage deal team.

LEASE SIGNED: Metz Industrial Group sells cold storage in Paterson, NJ. The Metz Industrial Group of Bussel Realty Corp. has facilitated the leasing of 508-522 East 35th Street in Paterson, New Jersey. The property features 25,660 SF of cold storage and food production space. Jordan Metz, Benito Abbate, and James Friel with the Metz Industrial Group represented the owner in the transaction.

LEASE SIGNED: Cushman & Wakefield leases cold storage in Edinburg, TX. Cushman & Wakefield has facilitated the leasing of 901 West Owassa Road in Edinburg, Texas. The property features a 52,482 SF cold storage facility. Carlos Marquez, Sergio Acosta, Greg Millerd, and Stephen Fife with Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord in the transaction.

LEASE SIGNED: Cresa subleases cold storage in Las Vegas. Cresa has facilitated the subleasing of 2830 West Capovilla Avenue in Las Vegas, Nevada. The property features a 35,987 SF cold storage facility. Christopher Crooks and Xavier Wasiak led the Cresa deal team.
