NEWS ROUNDUP

GROUNDBREAKING: Construction starts on $141M cold storage facility in Miami. Mandich Group, Cold-Link Logistics, PortMiami, Miami Intl. Airport, and Reveam have broken ground on a phytosanitary treatment and cold chain processing facility at 7449 Northwest 12 Street in Miami, Florida. When completed (est. 2027), the facility will be the largest of its kind in the US. Michael, Mark, and Nick Mandich lead the Mandich Group/Cold-Link Logistics team.

ACQUISITION: Westmount buys cold storage development site in Dallas. Westmount Realty Capital has acquired 951 West Walton Walker Boulevard in Dallas, Texas. The property totals 24.4 acres and is zoned for industrial warehouse development. Westmount intends to develop the property for cold storage and last-mile tenants. Kyle Russell and Cliff Booth led the Westmount deal team.

DISPOSITION: HL Real Estate Group sells Miami cold storage for $2.1M. HL Real Estate Group has facilitated the sale of 2121 Northwest 24th Avenue in Miami, Florida. The property features 2 cold storage buildings totaling 6,050 SF. Benjamin Malayev with HL Real Estate Group represented the seller in the transaction.

LEASE SIGNED: Newmark brokers lease of cold storage facility in Sacramento. Newmark has facilitated the leasing of 70,000 SF at 7070 Badiee Drive in Sacramento, California. The entire facility, also known as Metro Air Park Logistics Center III, totals 110,000 SF and is owned by LDK Ventures. John Roth with Newmark represented the tenant, Elior North America, in the transaction. Jason Klier led the LDK deal team.

EXPANSION: Lineage expands Louisville, KY cold storage facility. Lineage has announced an expansion to its cold storage facility located at 7201 Winstead Drive in Louisville, Kentucky. The project will add more than 82,000 SF and 10,300 pallet positions to Lineage’s existing facility. The Lineage team includes Matt Cramer and Jason Mulvihill.
