DISPOSITION: BGO, Yukon sell cold storage in New Century, KS. BGO and Yukon Real Estate Partners have sold New Century Cold Storage, located at 27302 West 159th Street in New Century, Kansas. The property features a 291,175 SF cold storage warehouse and was co-developed through a joint venture between the 2 companies. The BGO deal team included Kevin Rivest, while the Yukon deal team included Mark Winter-Gitelson and Axel Anderson.

LEASE SIGNED: CBRE leases cold storage facility in Chicago metro area. CBRE has facilitated the leasing of a 196,776 SF cold storage facility at 25815 West 143rd Street in Plainfield, Illinois. Steven Livaditis with CBRE represented the owners, Barber Partners and Bain Capital, in the transaction.

GRAND OPENING: Milo’s Tea Co. opens cold logistics in Birmingham, AL. Milo’s Tea Co. has opened a 150,000 SF refrigerated distribution facility at 400 Industrial Drive in Birmingham, Alabama. The new facility marks Milo’s 4th major investment in its real estate footprint since 2020. Chair and CEO Tricia Wallwork leads the Milo’s team.

RENOVATION: ARCO completes renovation of Portland, OR, cold storage. ARCO National Construction has completed a renovation to 19786 Northeast San Rafael Street in Portland, Oregon. The facility features 2 cold storage buildings totaling 141,024 SF. The project modernized the property with box-in-box construction, a transcritical CO2 refrigeration system, and electrical and fire protection infrastructure. The facility is operated by Performance Food Group.
