ACQUISITION: Yukon buys cold storage facility in Houston, TX. Yukon Real Estate Partners has acquired 7442 Fairbanks North Houston Road in Houston, Texas. The property features a 21,000 SF cold storage warehouse currently leased to Ken’s Produce. The Yukon deal team was led by Gerald Logan.

LEASE SIGNED: Newmark Zimmer brokers lease renewal in Kansas City, KS. The Newmark Zimmer Industrial & Logistics team has facilitated a long-term lease renewal for 5140 Kansas Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. The property features a 100,440 SF cold storage building and is owned by NorthPoint Development. The Newmark Zimmer deal team was led by John Hassler and Mark Long.

DEVELOPMENT: Avison Young launches cold storage project in Vineland, NJ. Avison Young has launched its development of 1883 West Landis Avenue in Vineland, New Jersey. The finished project will feature a 250,240 SF cold storage warehouse on 23.5 acres. The Avison Young project team is led by Matthew Marshall.

DEVELOPMENT: Vertical CS opens distribution center in Kansas City, MO. Vertical Cold Storage has opened its newest distribution center at 14820 Cleveland Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. The facility totals 311,000 SF and features 47,000 pallet positions. The facility is adjacent to a CPKC intermodal terminal. The Vertical CS team is led by West Hutchison. The project has been sponsored by Platform Ventures, which is headed by Terry Anderson and Ryan Anderson.

DEVELOPMENT: Agile Cold Storage to build cold storage in Philadelphia area. Agile Cold Storage has received approval to build a 232,596 SF cold storage facility located on Cabot Boulevard East in Falls Township, Pennsylvania. The facility will be used to store cheese and french fries. The Agile Cold Storage team is led by Don Schoenl.

EXPANSION: US Foods expands distribution center in Buda, TX. US Foods is planning a 172,000 SF expansion to its facility at 2150 Fire Cracker Drive in Buda, Texas. ESI Group USA will be undertaking the expansion, which will add a freezer, multi-temperature coolers, dry storage, and dry and cold docks to the existing facility. The project is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2026. Dave Flitman leads the US Foods team. Brad Barke leads ESI Group USA.
