DEVELOPMENT: Interstate Capital plans $50M cold storage facility in Detroit metro. Interstate Capital is planning a cold storage facility at 15670 Wahrman Road in Romulus, Michigan. When completed, the speculative property, which is located close to Detroit Metro Airport, would feature a 257,900 SF building with 204,580 SF of convertible freezer space and 30,850 SF of cold dock space. Greg Diloné Jr. leads the Interstate Capital team.

DEVELOPMENT: Contegra finishes construction on cold storage in Fairborn, OH. Contegra Construction has announced that it has completed construction on Fairborn Cold Storage, located at 50 Chapelgate Drive in Fairborn, Ohio. The property has been developed in partnership with Crawford Hoying and BGO Cold Storage and features a 196,000 SF food-grade freezer facility. The sole tenant for the property is Bob Evans Farms.

LEASE SIGNED: Cold storage leased in Miami area for $23/SF/Year NNN. Miami-based broker Mascia Mecchia has represented the landlord in the leasing of 3190 West 15th Avenue in Hialeah, Florida. The property features 19,100 SF total with 7 cooler units measuring 200-900 SF each.
