FINANCING: Gantry arranges $18.5M loans for cold storage facilities in North Carolina. Gantry has secured 2 fixed-rate loans totaling $18.5M for a single sponsor to refinance and acquire 2 cold storage properties in North Carolina. Both properties are fully leased. The Gantry deal team included Tony Kaufmann and Jacob Davis. The financings are:

• Acquisition: 2026 US-70 West in Goldsboro, North Carolina — 124,000 SF

• Refinance: 2900 Lowery Street in Winston-Salem, North Carolina — 162,000 SF

ACQUISITION: Sagard buys food and beverage distribution facility in Baltimore for $91M. Sagard Real Estate has acquired 7001 Quad Avenue in Rosedale, Maryland. The property features a 621,144 SF distribution facility currently leased to food and beverage users. Belah Terentjev led the Sagard deal team.

READ: USDA announces $7.5M in grants to expand cold storage infrastructure. The USDA has announced $7.5 million in grants to expand cold storage infrastructure for food assistance programs. The funding will help food banks and other organizations store, package, and distribute fresh, frozen, and minimally processed foods, including meat, dairy, and produce. Grants will cover cold-chain equipment costs up to $200,000, with recipients required to provide a 10% cash contribution.
